Are you a “deep feeler” or do you struggle with feelings that are “too-big?” If you are, you’ve come to the right place. Or perhaps you’re just a human existing in this wild and wonderful but immensely difficult world, and you want some extra support. The single most important thing for me as a therapist is that my clients feel safe and connected. I believe that a sense of emotional and physical safety as well as connection are essential to healing and growth in the therapy room, so I strive to create a comfortable, safe, and nonjudgmental environment for my clients at the outset of treatment. A therapist isn’t your friend, family member, or colleague, but a unique, genuine human connection, and I take this responsibility seriously.

I see therapy as an art, not a one-size-fits-all formula. My approach is flexible, collaborative, and rooted in your individual needs. I integrate narrative, person-centered, and attachment-based modalities, and when helpful to your therapeutic focus or enhancing safety and connection, I also incorporate elements of DBT, CBT, mindfulness, and creative practices like music and art. (If some of those terms feel unfamiliar—no worries! I’m happy to explain during a consultation or session.)

I specialize in trauma-informed care, which means I pay close attention to the ways your past, your environment, and larger cultural or systemic influences may be impacting your present.  That said, I don’t believe in dwelling in the pas —I believe in honoring your story while focusing on how to support your growth today.

My background as a therapist has allowed me to work with diverse clientele and a variety of diagnoses and focuses, including emotional regulation, life-transitions, communication skills,  trauma, attachment wounding, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, and more. As a recovering perfectionist and someone who has worked in burnout-prone environments, I particularly enjoy supporting ambitious people who are ready to break patterns of over- functioning and learn to set boundaries with more ease. As a professional musician, I also specialize in working with creatives and those working in the entertainment industry— people navigating the stress, instability, identity challenges, and pressure that come with creative careers, often while balancing multiple jobs and roles.

Finding a therapist can be a daunting and overwhelming task. If you’re curious about working together, I’d love to connect.
