The human in me sees the human in you.

Hello, I'm Cristina Clarke. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Human Sexuality from California State University, Northridge, and a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, including a specialization in School-Based Family Counseling, from California State University, Los Angeles.

My therapeutic philosophy centers on collaboration and compassion, delving beneath the surface to uncover personal narratives. As an Afro-Latina, my counseling style is rooted in trauma-informed and culturally relevant counseling, recognizing the unique influences shaping each individual's experiences. Utilizing a diverse range of therapeutic modalities such as Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness-based CBT, Family Systems Therapy, Humanistic therapy, Attachment-based modalities, and Compassion-Focused Therapy, I tailor my approach to address the specific needs of each client.

With extensive experience, I guide individuals through a spectrum of challenges, including anxiety, low self-esteem, identity development, grief, relationship stressors, women’s issues, multicultural concerns, and trauma. My aim is to provide a nurturing space for healing and self-discovery. Embracing an inclusive perspective, I affirm and celebrate diversity in my practice, supporting LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and CNM/Poly partnerships. I invite you to embark on a journey towards elevated self-compassion, self-discovery, and fulfillment as we explore and navigate the intricacies of your unique story together.
