Associate Clinical Social Worker #108413 under Licensed Supervision

Existing can be really overwhelming. As a therapist, I take an affirming, non-pathologizing, anti-oppressive, and trauma centered approach.

I recognize and assist clients in navigating the ways culture, identity, upbringing, social structures, and individual experiences impact our mental health and well-being. I believe we are often having proportional reactions to the systems we exist in and believe the symptoms and behaviors that bring us to therapy have developed throughout our lives as protective, coherent and adaptive mechanisms. I will assist you in building upon tools you already have while creating alternative strategies that get to the root of issues and resolve the places you feel stuck.

I tailor therapy to each persons unique needs while incorporating both top down and bottom up modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Parts Work, Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, the Trauma Resiliency Model, Expressive Arts Therapy and more.

I particularly enjoy working with those navigating past and current experiences related to life transitions, chronic illness/disability, medical trauma, grief and loss, suicidal thoughts, race based stress/racial trauma and other identity based stress/trauma related to being a part of historically exploited groups, relational trauma, sexual abuse and other unwanted sexual experiences, dissociation and those on the structural dissociation spectrum (PTSD, BPD/Complex PTSD, derealization, depersonalization, and dissociative identity disorder).
