Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #99389

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been in the field for over 10 years. I work with children, adolescents, couples, and families experiencing challenges with anxiety, mood, relationship problems, and life transitions to identify their strengths and help them find their best selves and move towards richer, more fulfilling lives.  I received my B.A. from Cornell University and my M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California.

I believe therapy is a journey of joint exploration and discovery.  I work in a collaborative manner and strive to ensure that the counseling I provide is individualized, trauma-informed, culturally-relevant, and strength-based.

I provide individual, couples, and family counseling using interventions from a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Child-Parent Psychotherapy. Some areas I specialize in include trauma and abuse, cross-cultural issues, parenting, phase of life challenges, and eating disorders.

As a musician and vocalist, I also enjoy working with creative individuals who would like to increase their confidence in their work and overcome blocks to creativity and peak performance.
