Erica Pitman, LCSW

Erica Pitman is a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience working with children, parents, adults and families. She obtained her B.A. in Literature from Emory University and her Masters in Social Work from New York University.

She has a wide range of postgraduate training, including family systems therapy through the Ackerman Family Institute. Erica has done in depth training in the field of Behavioral Psychology, inclusive of Applied Behavioral Analysis. In addition, she has years of clinical experience in treating typically developing and neurodivergent individuals; specifically, individuals with learning differences, Autism, ADHD, depression, and anxiety disorders.

Erica has worked with individuals in a wide range of contexts such as individual, group, and family therapy. She has treated clients who suffer from addiction in an outpatient setting. She has also provided counseling to young adults, and has developed recreation arts programming and curricula for children with special needs. She enjoys helping clients reach their therapeutic goals through a strengths-based perspective and often utilizes a blended approach of behavioral, psychodynamic, and narrative interventions to achieve these ends.Â

In her spare time, Erica enjoys cooking, baking, crosswords and spending time with her family.
